New York International Education was founded in 2000 by Mrs. Tina Liu, whose dream was to create a joyful and spacious place—over 1000 square feet —where children could grow freely and happily. Since then, we have established a series of educational institutions, including New York science park kindergarten, New York Wang Tutoring Center, New York International School (1700 square feet), and WOW English Academy.
At the heart of New York International’s philosophy is Positive Discipline and a U.S.-based language curriculum. We aim to cultivate in every child a global mindset, self-confidence, and the ability to solve problems from an early age. We guide children to develop empathy for life, a sense of responsibility, resilience, and the courage to innovate and realize their own potential—preparing them to be responsible citizens of the future.
Our school is also a place where international culture thrives. In every classroom, you’ll find children from diverse countries learning together, sharing the spirit of multiculturalism. Each year, many of our students continue on to international schools around the world. To date, we have welcomed children from over 10 different nationalities.
Our dream is to be a life-changing mentor for every child—filled with passion and purpose, helping each one discover their gifts and co-create a meaningful, joyful learning journey.
This school combines an American early childhood language system, Positive Discipline philosophy, and project-based thematic learning. The curriculum is centered around children’s interests, encouraging inquiry and exploration from a young age. Our goal is to nurture bilingual, cross-culturally competent global citizens. Each classroom integrates themed learning zones with professional arts, music, and physical education instruction. Through a collaborative teaching model, we foster organic connections across disciplines, empowering teachers and students to grow with confidence and purpose.
Inspired by the concept of artists-in-residence, this school encourages children to become independent thinkers, problem solvers, and creative individuals through thematic, project-based learning. Classrooms feature dedicated art exhibition spaces and interactive learning zones. A professional learning team supports teachers with ongoing training and collaboration, creating a strong, growth-oriented teaching culture.
Our elementary program nurtures globally minded learners by adopting a curriculum aligned with American elementary standards. Children naturally develop multilingual thinking, communication, and expression through real-life learning. Every learning experience is a path of self-discovery. Through interdisciplinary lessons, students learn to think flexibly, embrace open-ended questions, and solve problems—all while developing social awareness and a deep connection to global and local cultures.
